How to Export XML from TimeBolt

Export XML for Video or Audio File

Steps to follow:

1. Open File in TimeBolt and let TimeBolt do it’s thing.
2. Once set-up, scroll to the bottom and click on “XML”.
3. Pop-up shows up with the link to generated XML file.
4. Click on the link and open location of file in File Explorer / Navigator.
5. Open Premiere Pro and create a new project or use an existing Project.
6. Drag the XML File into the Media Pool.
7. Convert Icon View → List View in Media Pool to identify the file better.
8. Double click on Sequence Icon to show the import XML Sequence in Premiere Pro.

And you’re done!

Export XML for Video with Multi-track Audio

Steps to follow:

1. Open File in TimeBolt and let TimeBolt do it’s thing.
2. Once set-up, scroll to the bottom and click on “XML”.
3. Pop-up shows up with the link to generated XML file.
4. Click on the link and open location of file in File Explorer / Navigator.
5. Open Premiere Pro and create a new project or use an existing Project.
6. Drag the XML File into the Media Pool.
7. Convert Icon View → List View in Media Pool to identify the file better.
8. Double click on Sequence Icon to show the import XML Sequence in Premiere Pro.
9. Select all the clips in the Sequence by either Control / CMD + A or by clicking and dragging the mouse across the Timeline selecting every clip.
10. Right click on the selected clips and select “Audio Channels”.
11. Make sure the correct audio channels are turned on for the corresponding clips. Usually the checkboxes are laid out in a diagonal pattern.
